About us
In 2008, the ICPFSB presidency switched from the Romanian Bancpost to the Czech Republic Postal Savings Bank. This three-year commitment presents an exciting and important challenge in fulfilling the ICPFSB goals: to deliver high-quality services to ICPFSB members, share knowledge and experience surrounding postal banking and business and bring out a new face of postal services.
What is ICPFSB?
- International organization for providers and operators of postal and financial services, operating under Universal Postal Union as a restricted union.
- Open-platform organization crossing frontiers of countries, industry sectors, cultures; open to all postal banks, postal authorities, operators and postal providing financial services, to join our organization and contribute to our activities.
Mission and vision
- Create synergies, develop best practices and share experience and information.
- Accelerate the utilization of the postal network to provide access to financial services.
- Identify new solutions of cooperation between postal authorities and postal banks, commercial banks and other financial institutions in various business areas.
Strategy
- Deliver high quality services to our members by providing real benefits through meetings, trainings and information exchange.
- Enable access to our membership to postal authorities and operators providing financial services, and to postal banks all around Europe.
- Represent interests of our members within other international institutions.
What do we do…Our activities
- Website – access to e-news monitoring, newsletters and useful documents about postal finances, mass retail financial services, development in postal and banking sector, and more.
- E-news fleet sheets – weekly e-news summary sent by email to registered members.
- Newsletters providing news, editorial comments and articles about postal banking and postal financial services; special contributions from members on projects/products.
- Topics - short articles on the website focused on “hot topics” prepared by experts.
- Joint activities with other European organizations such as UPU, PostEurop, WSBI, EFMA and some more.
- Strategic seminars (2 per year):
- Exchange of experiences and best practice in postal financial services development.
- Interaction with external stakeholders (regulators, EU and other international institutions).
- Includes several modules focused on different areas - management, marketing, operations management, retailing, technology and more.
- Lecturers from CEE and West European posts, banks and other institutions.
